Guru shri Gorakshnath College of Nursing is a part of Guru Shri Gorakshnath Institute of Medical Sciences owned by MAHARANA PRADAP SIKSHIA PARISAD, Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. The MPSP has been established during 1932 by Bhramahleen Mahant Digvijaynath Ji Maharaj. It has various schools, colleges of professional and vocational institutions. It has been established to develop the standard of living of people belongs to eastern part of U.P. through educational development.

Health is the major concept in the development of living standard, so realized that medical education is necessary to develop the health care of the populace. Guru Shri Gorakshnath Hospital has been established in the year 1980. During that time identified the shortage of health care providers in the state and established Guru Shri Gorakshnath School of Nursing during 2009 to fulfill shortage of health care providers (nurses) in hospital and in community centers.

Now our Guru Shri Gorakshnath College of Nursing has spread over the area of 7 acres having well modern infrastructure and well furnished College of Nursing, Hostel and parent hospital (Guru Shri Gorakshnath Chikitsalaya). Our college of nursing offering ANM, GNM, B.B.Sc.(Nursing) and P.B.B.Sc.(Nursing) courses.

Our aim is to increase the quality and the quantity of health care sector by providing first level teaching by experienced and qualified faculties and the clinical experience through a parent hospital (Guru Shri Gorkashnath Chikitsalya) with 350 bedded multi disciplinary super specialty hospital and various affiliated hospitals and community centers.

Our future plan is to develop a PG and the Doctorate level in nursing education and research centers to develop the educational standards in nursing. Welcome all to the Guru Shri Gorakshnath College of Nursing to develop the Medical education and to be a part of health care centre.
